HALF-TIME FAN ENTERTAINMENT

Following the success of our Wigan Warriors half-time activity, we devised a game to be featured at the interval of all iT20, T20 & ODI (One Day International) matches at Durham County Cricket Club.

This took the form of a fielding challenge, assisted on the pitch by Paul Collinwood. Players had to aim to accurately hit a target within a set number of throws, in front of the Durham crowd.

Entry was via social media for participants over 18 years of age. The activity was streamed live via Durham’s social media channels.

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & BRAND ACTIVATION

Adapt created a strong brand presence outside the ground to act as a focal point for fan engagement. We deployed large-format video screens and a fan hub to advertise and host our activities throughout the day.

We also hosted a 60-minute Q&A session with Durham CCC and England International player Mark Wood, held inside a branded gazebo (20ft x 10ft), with photograph and autograph opportunities. This proved extremely popular with fans and drew large crowds.

Plus, our team of brand ambassadors encouraged activation via a sign-up offer. All new customers who made a deposit or bet of £50 were rewarded with a signed Durham cricket shirt.

LED PERIMETER ADVERTISING

We produced advertising on LED perimeter boards around the ground, with 20-second animated clips, plus static signage on boards in and around the ground.
