APPROACH PLAY

In the run-up to the British Open golf tournament, we produced a promotional video with social media specialist Hashtag United, which has over 400k YouTube subscribers.

Shot at the MacDonald Portal Golf Hotel in Cheshire, on the venue’s Championship Golf Course, teams took part in a game of Texas Scramble. The video was aired 10 days prior to the British Open and highlighted 188Bet best odds and golfing specials, such as paying out 7 places.

Working closely with our creative team, Adapt Events arranged for 188Bet branded golf buggies, flags, inflatable marquees and feather flags, along with a Carnoustie simulator challenge (to celebrate the venue for the British Open).

The resulting video was aired on Hashtag United’s YouTube channel, reaching over 462,000 subscribers and receiving over 100,000 views. An interactive link to 188Bet’s website was also featured; and the video was aired on their own separate golf channel.

As a result, our client reported an activity uplift of 300%.
